Dr. Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu and also the alumni of the college was the chief guest on the occasion. In his address, he appreciated the efforts of the college in providing platform to the students to enhance their knowledge. He shared with them different mantras to become a highly professional managers in this most competitive business world.
In the first session Prof. V.C Sharma, former Director of the Business School and former Dean Placement Officer, University of Jammu, Jammu was the recourse person. He emphasized on the major challenges that need to be addressed by the current generation students. He further mentioned that there is no shortcut to hard work and success needs more effort than luck alone.
In the second session, Dr. Pallavi Arora, Assistant Professor in International Centre for Cross Cultural and Human Recourse Management was the resource person. In her presentation she explained various concepts of management and future future courses of action that student can opt after BBA.
Both the sessions were followed by Interactive session in which number of quires were made by the students of BBA and were answered in a very effectively and simple manner.
Dr. Ajeet Angral, Principal, Govt. M.A.M College Jammu in his address to the students encouraged them to become an employer rather than an employee for creating more employment opportunities and he also advised them to have an effective role in sharing social responsibilities.
Earlier the Welcome Address was given by Prof. Meena Gupta, HOD Department of Management, Govt. M.A.M College, Jammu. A brief about the programme was given by Prof. Anwar-Ul-Haq, Assistant Professor in Management and vote of thanks was given by Dr. Ridhi Sharma, Assistant Professor in Management. The comparing was done by Twinkle Bhat and Shriya Sharma the students of BBA Semester 5th.
The significance of this programme:- The entire event was by the students for the students and of the students of the Management Department, Govt. M.A.M College Jammu.
