NCC (National Cadet Corps)
 
To install sense of discipline in the youth and to develop their character, the ideal of service and capacity for leadership in addition to fostering a spirit of comradeship, the college provides facilities for NCC training to the volunteer students. This stimulate interest in the Defence for the country as also to build up a reserve of man power for the Armed Forces. NCC Certificate holders are exempted from the written test of CDS / IMA. Other incentives can be had from the concerned ANO's. Three NCC Wings Infantry, Armed and Naval are available in the college.
 
National Service Scheme (NSS)
 
To foster a spirit of comradeship and love for humanity in general and rural fold in particular facilities are provided to willing workers with a desire for social service, to put in their best, for alleviating the suffering of the sick, and the downtrodden. The NSS Squad work under the able guidance of well trained senior staff members who guide them properly and chalk out programmes for Voluntary Social Service. The College has three units of NSS, each consisting of 100 volunteers. Each unit function under a programme officer. The students have to apply on a prescribed form for seeking admission to each unit.
 
Medical Dispensary
 
To ensure the availability of basic medical facility for the students, a small medical dispensary is functioning under the supervision of an experienced pharmacist. This dispensary maintains necessarily stock of medicines and other related items for First Aid.
 
Workshop
 
The college has a workshop for maintenance of infrastructure where the services of a carpenter, plumber and electrician are available.
 
Scholarships
 
The college provides financial aid to the handicapped poor and deserving students for the purchase of books and to meet other needs. Each year 20 such scholarships are granted out of Students Aid Fund, which is raised from the contributions made by the students themselves at the time of annual admission as a part of Admission Fee. The Annual Financial Assistance ranges between Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 20,000/- depending upon the category.
 
Grievance Redressal Cell
 
Students can approach this cell for redressal of their grievances. Senior and experienced faculty members are nominated to this cell.
 
Physical Education and Sports
 
The College has splendid playgrounds for Cricket, Football, Hockey, Tennis, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Handball, Basketball and Badminton. Games are played regularly and every student is expected to play at least one game.
 
Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
 
In order to develop the all round personality of the learners, the college encourages the participation of students in essay writing, debates, cultural programmes, games and sports and Display your talent organized by the University of Jammu.
 
Hostel
 
Hostel facility is available for 120 male students. The hostel comprises 34 rooms. Four students are allotted one room. The hostel is under the supervision of the resident Warden, who is a senior staff member of the College.
 
Employment Cell
 
A career counselling and vocational guidance cell has been set up in the college, which is headed by a senior faculty member. The cell is open for six hours a day on all working days. Posters, brochures, cutting of the newspapers and other printed material are displayed in the cell to provide information to the students about the various career opening possibilities. The cell also organizes vocational guidance programmes and entrepreneurship camps by different agencies such as Call Centres, Distance Education, University of Jammu, MBA Awareness and ITCO (J&K Industrials and Technical Consultancy Organisation Ltd.)
 
Remedial Classes
 
The college has a unique distinction of admitting students from Rural areas as well as far flung areas of the Distt. of Jammu province as well as from Ladakh. Such students need extra care by the teaching faculty. So remedial classes / courses are arranged by constitution of a committee of college teacher. It will help and guide students who are weak in studies.
 
Youth Welfare Activities
 
The College has a Debating Society, a Dramatic Club, a Population Club, Hiking Club, Literary Club, an Art Club and a Science Club.
The Literary Club organises Debates, Symposia, Quiz Contests and Seminars. The Literary Club arranges Literary Meetings, Group Discussions, Lecturers and talks of Academic interests and essay competitions. The Art Club organizes Painting, Sketching, Clay Modeling, Collage making and Poster making competitions etc. Seminars, interactive lectures and organised by the Science Club.
